Podobno fałszywka? "So, it turns out that the image of the ISS transiting Saturn by Julian Wessell that was chosen as the Astronomy Picture of the Day for January 22, 2016 was, disappointingly, completely fake. Here are some simple measurements that prove it. At the time of the transit, the ball of the planet had a diameter of 15.6 arcseconds, and the ISS was 24.1 arcseconds. In the video and still images, they are almost exactly the same size. Others have pointed out lots of other evidence that the image was faked, such as the black sky (when the transit actually occurred in the daylight) and the fact that it was cloudy at the observing site at the time of the transit. When I first saw this image, I thought wow! that is really something special. I wanted to believe. Turns out I was fooled. Turns out that the folks at the Astronomy Picture of the Day were not too happy about it being fake either as they have removed it and replaced it with another photo. By coincidence, just before this controversy happened, I had agreed to give a talk at the NorthEast Astronomy Imaging Conference this coming April about "Aesthetics and Ethics in Astrophotography". https://www.facebook.com/jerry.lodriguss?fref=nf&pnref=story http://asterisk.apod.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=35581 http://astropolis.pl/topic/52199-apod-tranzyt-iss-na-tle-saturna-m101-21-go-wieku/?p=606579 Nawet z APOD-a usunęli http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap160122.html Nawet już nie ma filmiku ani zdjęć na stronie autora? http://jwastronomy.com/home chyba że ukrył?
